Step 1: Restart Your Computer and Modem/Router

Step 3: Check for DNS Issues

DNS (Domain Name System) is responsible for translating domain names (e.g., www.example.com) into IP addresses that computers can understand. If your DNS settings are incorrect, you may experience internet connection problems. Try changing your DNS settings to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).

Step 4: Check for Proxy Server Issues

Some networks use proxy servers to manage internet traffic. If your computer is set to use a proxy server, make sure the settings are correct. If you're not sure about your proxy server settings, contact your network administrator.

Step 5: Run a Network Troubleshooter

Most operating systems include a built-in network troubleshooter that can help you identify and resolve internet connection problems. On Windows, search for "Network Troubleshooter" in the Start menu. On macOS, open "System Preferences" and select "Network." Then, click on "Assist me" and select "Diagnose."

Step 6: Contact Your Internet Service Provider (ISP)

If you've tried all of the above steps and you're still having internet connection problems, it's possible that there's an issue with your ISP. Contact your ISP and report the problem. They will be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and restore your connection.
